Last Updated: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Micom SmartBooking platform, accessible via web interfaces, LINE messaging integration, and automated Short Message Service (SMS) notifications (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by Micom Digital Co., Ltd. (美伉數位科技有限公司) (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service (via web browser, direct link, QR code, LINE Front-end Framework (LIFF), or LINE messaging bot), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or business, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service independently. If you are under the legal age, you may only use the Service with the involvement and explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is primarily intended for users and registered businesses located in Taiwan with a valid mobile phone number (+886).

3. Service Description & Platform Role

Micom SmartBooking provides an automated scheduling, appointment management, and customer notification infrastructure connecting end-users with local service providers (including clinics, salons, wellness studios, and professional consultants).

The Service allows end-users to:

  • Discover participating businesses via direct web links or QR codes.
  • View real-time service availability, schedule appointments, reschedule, or cancel bookings.
  • Receive operational notifications, booking receipts, reminder alerts, and account authentication codes via SMS text messaging and/or LINE messaging.

Platform Role Disclaimer: Micom SmartBooking acts solely as a technology platform facilitating scheduling. The actual services scheduled are provided independently by third-party merchant businesses. We are not an agent, employer, or partner of any third-party business, and we are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or fulfillment of the services provided by such businesses.

4. User Obligations

As a condition of using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, current, and complete personal and contact information (including your legal name and active Taiwan mobile phone number).
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.
  • Not intercept, interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service’s infrastructure or telecommunication networks.
  • Not scrape, harvest, or reverse-engineer any component of the Service or its API integrations.
  • Comply with all applicable telecommunications regulations and third-party service terms, including the LINE Terms of Service.

5. Booking & Cancellation Policies

  • Confirmation: Appointment requests are subject to business confirmation and real-time calendar availability.
  • Merchant Policies: Cancellation deadlines, rescheduling windows, deposit requirements, and late-arrival policies are established by each individual merchant business. You agree to abide by the specific terms displayed by the merchant during the booking process.
  • No-Show & Late Fees: Merchants reserve the right to assess no-show or late-cancellation fees in accordance with their disclosed booking terms and local consumer protection regulations.

6. SMS and Text Messaging Terms (簡訊服務條款)

6.1 Purpose & Scope

By providing your mobile telephone number during account registration, identity verification, or appointment booking, you expressly consent to receive operational and transactional Short Message Service (SMS) text messages from Micom SmartBooking.

These messages include:

  • One-Time Passwords (OTP): Numeric verification codes required for identity authentication and phone ownership validation.
  • Booking Confirmations: Immediate digital receipts detailing appointment time, service, and location upon completing a reservation.
  • Appointment Reminders: Automated reminder notices dispatched 24 hours prior to a scheduled booking to prevent missed appointments.
  • Operational Updates: Critical alerts regarding merchant schedule changes, immediate cancellations, or system notices.

No Marketing SMS: We strictly do not transmit unsolicited commercial advertisements, marketing campaigns, promotions, or bulk affiliate broadcasts via SMS. All text messages dispatched are direct, automated responses to user-initiated actions.

6.2 Message Frequency & Rates

  • Frequency: Message frequency is transactional and corresponds directly to your scheduling activity (typically 1 to 3 messages per appointment transaction).
  • Carrier Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply in accordance with your mobile carrier’s service plan. Neither Micom Digital Co., Ltd. (美伉數位科技有限公司) nor your mobile carrier is responsible for any fees charged by your telecommunications provider.

6.3 Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of operational SMS reminders at any time. You can disable SMS notifications for a specific appointment by selecting the opt-out option during booking, or disable all SMS reminders globally via the “My Bookings” page in the App.

Once opted out, you will no longer receive reminder texts unless you re-enable them or make a new booking with notifications selected. Opting out of SMS does not affect essential security or verification codes (OTP). Our SMS routes are automated and one-way; replying directly to text messages is not supported.

6.4 Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Mobile carriers (including Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, FarEasTone, and international telecommunications partner networks) are not liable for delayed, misdirected, or undelivered messages. Transmission is subject to the coverage and operating stability of your telecommunications carrier.

6.5 Non-Disclosure and Third-Party Data Protection

We treat your contact information with strict confidentiality. Your mobile telephone number, customer records, and SMS opt-in consent data will never be sold, rented, leased, bartered, or shared with third parties or affiliate organizations for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes under any circumstances.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service—including software code, system architecture, interfaces, logos, designs, text, and graphics—are the exclusive property of Micom Digital Co., Ltd. (美伉數位科技有限公司) or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service strictly for personal, non-commercial booking management in accordance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

  • The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • In no event shall Micom Digital Co., Ltd. (美伉數位科技有限公司), its directors, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
  • Our total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed NT$1,000 (New Taiwan Dollars) or the total fee paid by you for the specific booking transaction giving rise to liability.

9. Termination & Account Suspension

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without prior notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms, attempted automated or numeric brute-force attacks, abused the platform, or engaged in fraudulent activity. You may discontinue using the Service at any time.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court (臺灣臺北地方法院) in Taiwan, Republic of China, subject to applicable statutory provisions under the Consumer Protection Act of Taiwan.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. The updated date at the top of this document will reflect the latest revision. Any material changes will be posted on our website. Your continued use of the Service after the posting of any changes constitutes full acceptance of the revised Terms.
